The nudist cruise specialist is teaming up with Norwegian Cruise Line to launch an 11-day voyage from Miami to the Caribbean, scheduled to set sail onboard the 295-meter Norwegian Pearl in February 2025. The chief executive of Norway's gigantic sovereign wealth fund on Tuesday said there is "clearly a lot of froth" in the tech sector, suggesting that whether there is too much of it could depend on this week's tech earnings bonanza. "If I look at what we can read out of the current market, I would say that there is clearly a lot of froth within the technology sector. Companies that are spending big internally to grow their businesses should start outperforming if the economy remains on strong footing, according to Goldman Sachs. The Wall Street bank is advising clients consider buying companies with a high level of capital expenditure and research and development expenses. Those companies have outperformed those returning cash to shareholders via buybacks and dividends this year by 2 percentage points, Goldman said. In this environment, investors typically reward companies investing for growth when economic growth is accelerating, if history is any guide, Goldman said. The firm found a slew of stocks in the S & P 500 with the highest percentage of capex and R & D per market cap.

☆ How the US Army botched a $1 billion upgrade of the Stryker armored vehicle's gun

Fearing that its Stryker armored vehicles were outgunned by Russian and Chinese designs, the US Army had an idea for a quick fix: Develop an unmanned Stryker turret with a 30-mm autocannon. The Army obliged in 2018 with the Infantry Carrier Vehicle-Dragoon, which added a remote-controlled 30-mm gun turret — manufactured by Norwegian firm Kongsberg — to 91 flat-bottom-hull versions of the Strykers. This would be enough to upgrade Strykers in three brigades of 83 vehicles each, plus an additional 20 for testing. Instead of a Kongsberg MCT-30 turret, the vehicles would receive a Samson turret made by Israeli firm Rafael. A big red flag should have been the glitches in the turret software that degraded the 30-mm cannon's accuracy.

A Team USA bodysuit is reigniting a conversation about the design of women's athletic outfits. Following the reveal of the showy unitard, athletes quipped that they would definitely need a thorough wax to wear the women's piece. Jordana Katcher, Nike's vice president for global sports apparel, also told the Post that several women athletes had requested the unitard specifically. Black women athletes are often hyper-sexualized or painted as angry or evil. It's an impressive turnaround after the industry was largely halted for 15 months after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a no-sail order in March 2020 at the onset of the Covid pandemic in the U.S.And Royal Caribbean has been leading the way. I ran across the path into the chalet my husband — already aware of my nighttime habits — had booked at a discounted price. On the hotel's website, one night in a one-bedroom chalet in February is listed at 8,000 Norwegian Krone, or $743. So, I peed in our private bathroom, slid into a real bed, with a real blanket, no dead reindeer or sleeping bag to battle with, and slept contentedly. But I'd only do it for one night, then off into the chalet for the next.
